Delete your On the Books account

On the Books is provided by Technarit LLC.

In the app

Open Shop settings, then Delete account. The app shows how many upcoming appointments you have, cancels your subscription in Google Play, and deletes your account straight away.

Without the app

Email hello@onthebooksapp.com from the email address your account uses, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete the account and reply to confirm within 30 days.

Cancel your subscription in Google Play first (Google Play subscriptions), so it stops renewing.

What is deleted

Your account, your shop details, services and opening hours, every appointment and the clients’ names and phone numbers on them, your client notes, and your notification settings. Your booking link stops working. This cannot be undone.

What is kept, and for how long

• A record that subscription payments were made (plan, dates and status), no longer linked to you or your account. We keep it for 7 years for tax and accounting.
• Google Play keeps its own records of your purchases under its own policy.
• Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for 7 days.
